Over my career with CubeSmart, I’ve had the opportunity to grow through a variety of roles, from the front lines of the store to my current role as a Divisional Trainer. Each step in my journey has challenged me to take on new responsibilities, learn from others, and discover new ways to contribute. My career has allowed me to grow from serving our customers and supporting day-to-day operations to developing and supporting the teammates and leaders who serve them. Along the way, I’ve learned that career growth isn’t always about the next title, it’s about continuing to learn, challenging yourself, and being willing to step into new opportunities. Looking back after 20 years, I’m proud of where I started, how much I’ve grown, and that I now get to play a part in helping others grow too.

Fourteen years ago, I joined CubeSmart as a Store Manager looking for an opportunity. I began my Senior Manager journey in 2023 after working in Store Manager and General Manager roles, and I was incredibly honored to have the opportunity to take on this role and continue growing with CubeSmart. One of the things I value most about CubeSmart is the opportunity to learn from others, and working closely with my District Manager and asking questions has helped me gain a broader perspective and better understanding of the bigger picture behind the decisions we make for our customers and our company. Knowing our policies, procedures, and the CubeSmart Way has allowed me to train and develop multiple Senior Managers, including teammates across state lines, and watching a district I have supported grow stronger and become confident and well-versed in the CubeSmart Way has been incredibly rewarding. I was also given the opportunity to perform CRR audits across multiple districts, which expanded my knowledge and helped prepare me for the next step in my career, and I am truly grateful for the opportunities CubeSmart has given me to grow, lead, and develop others.

13 years ago, I joined CubeSmart as a Store Manager in NYC. When I applied for the job, I was early into the workforce and had no idea this would be the start of my career journey. I am often asked the question “What has made you stay with CubeSmart for so long?” And the answer always remains the same: the opportunity for growth, the people who supported me along the way, and the ability to now do the same for others. Through mentors and simple connections, I quickly learned that hard work and drive was met with opportunity here.
