This is a hybrid role based out of Malvern, PA (3 days in office)
The Revenue Management Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Revenue Management function by leading a team of Revenue Management Analysts, analyzing data, implementing pricing strategies, and optimizing occupancy to enhance profitability across all store locations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior. The Revenue Management Manager will collaborate closely with other teammates and stakeholders throughout headquarters, and with field teammates to ensure that revenue management initiatives align with business goals.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
- Serve as the direct supervisor for a team of Revenue Management Analysts, providing coaching, daily direction, and performance feedback.
- Ensure high standards of analytical rigor, clear communication, and data accuracy in all analyst work products.
- Act as a liaison between analysts and senior management, translating strategic goals into actionable analytical initiatives.
Pricing and Revenue Optimization
- Optimize revenue by identifying and implementing dynamic pricing strategies based on market conditions, store-specific characteristics, and seasonal demand fluctuations.
- Analyze occupancy rates and develop strategies to optimize unit utilization across all locations.
- Support initiatives to drive revenue through rate increases, upselling, and bundling premium features.
- Assist in identifying and developing new products, improving existing products, and integrating additional features that provide value to customers.
- Participate in the planning and execution of promotions and seasonal campaigns designed to attract and retain high-value customers.
- Utilize customer segmentation models to tailor revenue management strategies to different customer groups.
Market and Competitor Analysis
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and promotional activities.
- Analyze competitor strategies to inform and adjust company pricing and revenue management tactics.
- Monitor supply trends and market share and assist in adjusting revenue management strategies to enhance competitive positioning.
Metrics and Performance Monitoring
- Track key metrics to ensure revenue management strategies are effective and delivering desired results and react accordingly.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on revenue performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with field teammates to identify local insights, update them on revenue management strategies and performance and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of revenue management processes and reduce manual interventions.
- Continuously seek to improve and refine pricing strategies based on supply and demand, market trends, competitor pricing, seasonality, and other factors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, or revenue management, preferably in self-storage, real estate, hospitality, or other related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage people or lead cross-functional projects with measurable impact.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into strategic actions.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to create clear reports, present data effectively, collaborate well with cross-functional teams, and influence others to support data-driven decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to new tools, processes, and industry knowledge, with a commitment to continuous learning.
